Meet Mauricio Arrioja-Baschuk

Okotoks Tennis Centre is privileged to have Mauricio as our club professional. He is strong teacher across all skill levels and ages, providing his expertise to a number of clubs in the Calgary area. Mauricio teaches our Adult and Youth programs and offers individual lessons as well.

Biography:
I was born and raised in Mexico city and started playing tennis since I was 6 years old, all my family are tennis lovers and the family reunions were in a Tennis Court where we had intense competition between cousins and uncles. I had great results as a junior competing in regional and national tournaments in singles and doubles and also in other tennis competitions representing my schools and tennis clubs in interclubs and interschools tournaments as Capitan. I studied Business Administration and have worked for big companies like Coca-Cola among others. In 2005 we decided to move to Calgary where I have learned and love winter sports like Skiing, Hockey, Skating and also I practice other sports like Triathlons, Cycling and Marathons.
